​Redbeard Forest School was founded by me, a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner and passionate outdoor educator, with a simple aim: to help children discover the joy, freedom and wonder of learning outdoors.

Since starting Redbeard, I have had the opportunity to work with children and families across London through Forest School groups, school sessions, after-school clubs and holiday camps. As the company has grown, so has our team, allowing us to bring our approach to even more children in a variety of settings.

At the heart of everything we do is a belief that children learn best when they are given the freedom to explore, experiment and get stuck in. We take a child-centred approach, creating opportunities for children to develop confidence, independence and a genuine connection with the natural world.

We are particularly passionate about bushcraft, handicrafts and traditional outdoor skills, often using natural and foraged materials to create hands-on experiences that encourage creativity and curiosity.

Whether we're building a shelter in the woods, making something from natural materials, exploring a school playground or getting muddy at one of our holiday camps, our aim is always the same: to create memorable outdoor experiences where children can have fun, challenge themselves and develop a lasting appreciation for nature.

While Redbeard Forest School continues to grow, that personal approach remains at the heart of everything we do. Every session is designed to be welcoming, engaging and, most importantly, great fun.
